International Dot Day
This event will take place on 15/09/2021
Next Wednesday, September 15th, FS2 and KS1(Foundation, Yr 1,2 only) will celebrate International Dot Day in school. This special day originated from a book by Peter H. Reynolds called ‘The Dot’. It is a story about how we as individuals can make our mark on the world and make it a better place to be. During the day the children will hear the story and then participate in a variety of activities from writing, art and even maths work!
To help encourage and enthuse our children we invite them to dress in something ‘dotty’ for the day. They may like to wear all over dots or keep it simple with spotty socks or a dotty headband – the choice is yours (school uniform if preferred).
We have celebrated this special day for several years now and it has always been much enjoyed by the children as well as forming an important part of their PSHE curriculum.
Thank you as always for your support.
