Burton Joyce Primary School is based in a village on the outskirts of Nottingham called Burton Joyce . We have  children from Early Years age 4 through to Year 6 (11 year olds) . We are a happy, fun filled school with lots of activities and a good reputation for achievement in core activities.

Gradually over the years we have added additional Classrooms with The Year3/4 New Block, Activity Playgrounds, and Early Years Block (all in colour). Recently we added a new Staff room and vegetable patch outside, presumably for their lunches.

Our school was originally  built in 1965  in black and white ( see photo), apparently long before any of our teachers were born.

The village has a good range of shops and a co-op supermarket, a post office, a sports field and play park, a modern village hall and an active church community - www.burtonjoyceparishcouncil.org.uk. There are lots of lovely country walks along the river.
